Pointe of Grace Ballet October 2017 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Our dancers have been doing such a wonderful job! We are so proud of all of them! Please read through this Newsletter for upcoming events and dates, information about invoicing and tuition payments, and more.

Please remember to pull your child’s hair up in a ponytail or bun on ballet days, and don’t forget to send in his/her dance bag. Please make sure that the dance bag is large enough to fit their regular clothing and shoes – so that we don’t end up with misplaced items. We will be offering dance bags for sale with our logo on them soon, so stay tuned for an email about that.

Note: One of the skills we encourage in our ballerinas is that they can dress themselves for ballet, and dress themselves in their regular clothing and shoes after class – please help your child to be successful in mastering this skill by sending them in clothing and shoes that they can put on themselves, ie, velcro or slip on shoes instead of laces for the little ones.

Thank you,

Amy Gilbert
Director, Pointe of Grace

Communication/Emails:

We send Newsletters, reminders, tuition invoices, and other information to the email on file from your child’s registration form. If you prefer that we use an alternate email address or would like to add a secondary contact please let my Office Manager, Beth or I know and we will change/add it.

Where can I find the newsletter? This first newsletter of the school year is being distributed in print, to make sure everyone is aware of how it comes out. Our newsletter comes out via email, and is posted to our website. The email newsletter comes from a 3rd party service so if you did not receive this in your email, please check your spam folder, and mark it as not spam to receive it next time.

How do I contact Pointe of Grace? If you have any questions or concerns about anything at all, please reach out to us. The quickest way to contact us is to email info@pointegrace.com as that email forwards to myself and Beth. If you have questions about payments or invoices, please contact Beth directly.

Tuition Invoices and Payments

Monthly tuition invoices are emailed out on the 20th of the month, and are due the following month. For example, the invoice you received on September 20th is for October tuition, and is due BY October 10th. There is a late fee of $15 for unpaid accounts, assessed after the 10th of the month. More information about our tuition and payment policies can be found here: https://pointegrace.com/payment-information/

We use the Customer Portal for our online billing system, and new students should have received an invitation to the Portal. If you need any assistance with the Portal, didn’t receive the invite or invoices, want to request a password reset, or wish to add a secondary contact to the portal, please let Beth know.

You are welcome to pay monthly tuition in one of three ways:

  1. Online, via PayPal – you do not need a PayPal account. Please use the Customer Portal for online payments to make sure your account is credited properly. Note: Please do not “send money” to us via PayPal as the system does not mark your account as paid.
  2. Check – made out to Pointe of Grace
  3. Cash – exact amount please as our teachers do not carry change with them

Checks or cash may be sent in with your child. Please note that payments should be sent in an envelope with “Pointe of Grace” and your child’s name written on it to ensure that your account is credited appropriately. Please do not give payments to preschool or school employees – only give payments to a Pointe of Grace instructor or send it in your child’s dance bag.

Upcoming Dates and Holiday Closures

Dance classes at school or preschool locations follow the calendar for that school for holiday closings. We do not prorate for holiday closures as some months have 5 classes, while others have 3. Our Tucker Studio Location Holidays are listed on our website at the bottom of this page: https://pointegrace.com/payment-information/
