Dear Parents,
Our studio will have THREE shows at Recital again this year. The Magical Book Shoppe Recital will be at Decatur High School in the Performing Arts Center on Sunday, June 4th. CAST A will be at 1:00PM, CAST B will be at 3:30PM, and CAST C will be at 6:00PM. Please read through this entire email for information about Rehearsals and Recital, and see the lists below for each CAST to see which show your child’s class will be performing in. We do our best to match up children who are in more than one class, or have siblings, however sometimes we may not be able to accommodate everyone. Please make a note of all your child(ren)’s classes and times. We highly recommend that you save a copy of this email for reference. All classes at the studio and at our schools/preschools participate in the Recital except for the Thurs morning Dance with Me Toddler class.
Also, our Ensemble dancers are hosting a “Dance Night Out” at the studio as a Fundraiser on March 17th. See below for the details. If you have any questions, please reach out to my Office Manager, Beth, or I.

Dance Night Out – Drop off your children for a fun evening at the studio. Register and prepay here. This event is on March 17th from 6:30-10pm. Cost is: $30 per child, with additional siblings $15 each.
Recital Tickets – Tickets will go on sale on March 16th. Tickets are $10 each. Full details and instructions for purchasing tickets will be emailed out on Tuesday, March 14th. You will be able to pre-order a digital download video, flowers and a T-shirt when you purchase tickets.
Studio Rehearsals are at our studio on the following dates. All dancers in that CAST will need to attend the entire rehearsal. This gives all our students the opportunity to practice the show in order, participate in being an audience, practice our finale, and also gives our staff and helpers the chance to learn and practice the order of the show.
Studio Rehearsals for CAST A are on Tuesday, May 23rd from 5PM-7PM and Tuesday, May 30th from 5PM-7PM.
Studio Rehearsals for CAST B are on Wednesday, May 24th from 5PM-7PM and Wednesday, May 31st from 5PM-7PM.
Studio Rehearsals for CAST C are on Thursday, May 25th from 5PM-7PM and Thursday, June 1st from 5PM-7PM.
Dress Rehearsal is at Decatur High School in the Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 3rd. Each class will receive an email with the assigned Dress Rehearsal time for that class by the end of March. If you have a child taking more than one class or if you have more than one child taking classes, you will receive a separate email for each. Please mark the times down on your calendar.
We will go over all the details for Rehearsals and Recital at our Costume Check. Costume check will be the week of May 1 – May 6. Please mark your calendars as parents will need to attend your child’s dance class to learn important information about Recital and Rehearsals.

Dancers can wear silly socks, patterned tights, or legwarmers to dance class this week.

Drop off your kids for a fun St. Patrick’s Day party at the studio while parents’ have a break. More details will be posted to our social media soon.

Parent Recital Informational Meeting and Costume Check – May 1 – May 6
Parents will attend your child’s dance class that week for important info about Recital.
