AcroDance is a fusion of the fluid movements of dance and the difficult tricks of acrobatics. Classes focus on flexibility, strength, contortionism, as well as a combination of modern, contemporary and jazz dance. The AcroDance V class is for students who have mastered beginning tumbling skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, bridges/ bridge walking, and bridge recovery against the wall. Students have mastered unassisted backbends and bridge kickovers. Students demonstrate ability to kick into handstand, land in bridge and stand up without assistance. Students demonstrate flexibility in splits and bridge work. Students can learn dance combinations and perform independently.

Dress Code: Girls: Solid color Black Leotard, Black dance leggings, or tan footless tights need to be worn with the Leotard. Hair in a Low ponytail or braid. Boys: Black gymnastics shorts, dance pants or form fitting athletic pants, Solid white or Black form fitting  T-shirt.

All dancers need to be Barefoot – no shoes or socks permitted. No jewelry of any kind. Bring a water bottle labeled with the dancer’s name. Please see the Dress Code requirements here.

Loose shorts or t-shirts are not permitted – they may catch on the equipment and impede movement.

Day/Time: This class is on Mondays from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Class starts on Monday, August 21st.

Tuition & Fees: Registration Fee of $35 and prorated August tuition of $42.50, is due upon registering to save a space for your child.

Monthly tuition is $85 per month, with a full month tuition paid for September through May. Costume and Recital Fees for our 2024 Recital will be due by December 15th.
