Dear Parents,

We are thrilled to announce that we will have THREE shows at Recital this year as our studio continues to grow and recover from the past two years. Recital will be at Decatur High School in the Performing Arts Center on Sunday, June 5th. CAST A will be at 1PM, CAST B will be at 3PM, and CAST C will be at 5:30PM. Please read through this entire email for information about Rehearsals and Recital, and see the lists below for each CAST to see which show your child’s class will be performing in.

Studio Rehearsals will be at our studio on the following dates. All dancers in that CAST will need to attend the entire rehearsal. This gives all our students the opportunity to practice the show in order, participate in being an audience, practice our finale, and also gives our staff and helpers the chance to learn and practice the order of the show.

  • Studio Rehearsals for CAST A are on Tuesday, May 24th from 5PM-7PM and Tuesday, May 31st from 5PM-7PM.
  • Studio Rehearsals for CAST B are on Wednesday, May 25th from 5PM-7PM and Wednesday, June 1st from 5PM-7PM.
  • Studio Rehearsals for CAST C are on Thursday, May 26th from 5PM-7PM and Thursday, June 2nd from 5PM-7PM.

Dress Rehearsal will be at Decatur High School in the Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 4th. Each class will receive an email with the assigned Dress Rehearsal time for that class by the end of the week. If you have a child taking more than one class or if you have more than one child taking classes, you will receive a separate email for each. Please mark the times down on your calendar.

We will go over all the details for Rehearsals and Recital at our Costume Check. Costume check will be via Zoom on Friday, April 29th and Sunday, May 1st. Details and a signup will come out in April.

Dancers can wear silly socks, patterned tights, or legwarmers to dance this week.
