Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! We hope that you all had a great break and were able to relax over the holidays. Thank you to all of you who loved on our teachers for the holidays – we all appreciate it! Classes resume today, Monday, January 6th and all our classes are back to our usual schedule this week.
With the colder weather finally here, your dancer may wear a form fitting long sleeve shirt, a dance sweater or cardigan sweater and leg warmers to class as sometimes the studio is a little chilly as we get started. (Please no jackets as they tend to be bulkier and hard to dance in.) Please note that if there are changes to our schedule due to winter weather, we will send out an email and post on our social media accounts. We do not necessarily close if the school systems close, but make a decision based on current weather factors.
Please read through this Newsletter for information about Summer Camp Dates, Upcoming Dates/Holidays, and more.
Our Recital & Dress Rehearsal dates are May 30th, 31st and June 1st . Recital is at Decatur High School – please make sure you have marked these dates on your calendar. Our Recital Theme for this year is Heroes & Villains!
Thank you. If you have any questions, please reach out to my Office Manager, Beth, or I.

Communication/Emails
We believe communication is key to a great dance experience. We regularly send out newsletters and updates via email and also post information on our Facebook and Instagram. The person listed on the registration form is our primary contact. If you’d like to add another contact to our email or text list, please reach out to Beth. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns, though please note that teachers may not be available to respond during class time. For urgent matters, email is the best way to reach us.
Inclement Weather & Schedule Changes
In case of schedule changes or closures due to weather, we will notify parents via email and post on our social media pages. For last-minute changes, we will also send text messages to parents.
