AcroDance is a fusion of the fluid movements of dance and the difficult tricks of acrobatics. Classes focus on flexibility, strength, contortionism, as well as a combination of modern, contemporary and jazz dance. The AcroDance VI class is for students who have mastered foundational skills such as: forward & backward rolls; cartwheels; unassisted backbends & bridge kickovers; handstand to bridge transitions and recovery; bridge walking and standing; flexibility in splits and bridge work. Students are expected to perform intermediate-level dance combinations with confidence and independence.
Students in Acro VI will continue to learn new dance skills and combinations in the modern, contemporary, and jazz genres. Students will focus on rolling bridges; Valdez; side and front aerials; back handsprings; connecting multiple acrobatic tricks in a sequence; partner, trio and group lifts. **This class is an advanced placement class and students are required to take one additional Pointe of Grace class to participate at this level.
Dress Code:
Girls: Solid color Black Leotard, Black dance leggings, or tan footless tights need to be worn with the Leotard. Hair in a Low ponytail or braid.
Boys: Black gymnastics shorts, dance pants or form fitting athletic pants, Solid white or Black form fitting T-shirt.
All dancers need to be Barefoot – no shoes or socks permitted. No jewelry of any kind. Please see the Dress Code requirements here.
Loose shorts or t-shirts are not permitted – they may catch on the equipment and impede movement.

Day/Time: This class is on Mondays from 5-6:30pm. Class starts on Monday, August 17th.
Tuition & Fees: A $40 Registration Fee and prorated August tuition of $47.50 are due upon registration to reserve your child’s space in class. All dancers who register during the first week of July will receive a free Pointe of Grace T-shirt (one shirt per dancer). Monthly tuition is $95 per month, with full monthly tuition due September through May.
Registration Fee: $40 per dancer, capped at $80 per family. If you are registering a child for more than one class, or registering three or more children, please select “Offline Payment” at checkout. We will review your registration and send you an invoice with the correct adjusted total based on the $80 maximum registration fee per family and the appropriate August tuition. Online payments cannot be adjusted after checkout, and overpayments will not be refunded.
Please note that registrations completed after classes begin do not include August tuition. Instead, tuition for any August classes attended will be added to your September tuition invoice.
Costume and Recital Fees for our 2027 Recital will be due by December 15. Information about our 2027 Recital, including dates and other important details, will be shared in our August newsletter.
